Cardiac Monitor Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitor Technician to join our team at Emory Midtown Hospital. As a Cardiac Monitor Technician, you will be responsible for observing, interpreting, and recording telemetry recordings for monitored patients. You will also deliver and apply telemetry boxes to patients, ensuring correct patient monitoring and reporting significant observations to the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Observe and interpret telemetry recordings for monitored patients
- Deliver and apply telemetry boxes to patients
- Ensure correct patient monitoring
- Report significant observations to the healthcare team
- Communicate pertinent information to patients as necessary
- Produce accurate and complete documentation
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Rhythm Analyst Technician (CRAT) preferred
- Successful completion of an approved arrhythmia course or passing an arrhythmia exam on hire
