Job Summary

The selected candidate will provide expert budget preparation and financial analysis support to a Federal Civilian Agency. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of a monthly dashboard with appropriation information
  • Quarterly report on Status of Balances and Appropriations
  • Development of Tri-Annual information guidance
  • Preparation/submission of annual Budget-in-Brief (BIB)
  • Budget systems development and Ad-hoc requests
Required Skills
  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or business management-related field from an accredited College or University
  • At least 5 years in Federal agency budget management and related OMB rules, criteria, and processes
  • Experience managing teams of people and directing complex projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to pass NACI background check
Desirable Qualifications
  • CPA and/or CGFM designation is desirable but not required
  • Located in the Washington DC national capital region with the ability to work onsite 2-3 days a week (hybrid position)
