Job Summary:
The Procurement Specialist will work closely with the Trachte estimating, engineering, and purchasing teams to procure goods and services. This position will be responsible for quoting and negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit, track, and negotiate quotes with suppliers based on customer needs and company strategies.
- Ensure quotes are received in a timely manner, are cost-competitive, and are accurate.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quotes for goods and services.
- Stay up-to-date with sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and supplier capabilities.
- Work closely with various departments within the company to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Technical aptitude with a familiarity of electrical products such as panels, breakers, etc.
- Ability to work on-site at the Trachte, LLC office.
