Procurement Analyst Job Description

Quartz is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Analyst to join our legal team and oversee the procurement process. This individual will be responsible for preparing administrative plans, creating financial and budgetary analysis to review vendor spend, negotiating with vendors, and administering contracts and purchase orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sourcing strategy to identify and evaluate potential vendors.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to identify opportunities to reduce overall administrative spend.
  • Prepare and distribute RFPs/RFQs, collect bids or other information, and evaluate proposals/quotes based on offering quality, cost, or other criteria.
  • Ensure that all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for reduction in costs and adherence to Service Level Agreements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience in project management, contract, or procurement, or Associates Degree with 7+ years of experience in project management, contract, or procurement, or High School Diploma with 10+ years of experience in project management, contract, or procurement.
  • Ability to travel to other locations for meetings, audits, and other functions.

This position can work hybrid or on-site from our Madison, WI office. Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
