Director of Housekeeping

At Great Wolf Lodge, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead our housekeeping team. As a key member of our resort's management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our resort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive housekeeping plans to ensure efficient operations and high-quality guest experiences.
  • Manage and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure excellent performance.
  • Oversee the daily activities of the housekeeping and laundry departments, ensuring that all public areas and guest rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for the housekeeping department, ensuring effective fiscal management and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate resort activities and ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Monitor and respond to guest comments and concerns, ensuring prompt and professional resolutions.
  • Develop and implement staff training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental health regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a large resort or hotel setting.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
