We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Long Island Select Healthcare Inc. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting mental health intake evaluations, completing psychological evaluations and other clinical assessments, and providing individual, couple, and group counseling.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct mental health intake evaluations to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans
- Complete psychological evaluations and other clinical assessments to inform treatment decisions
- Provide individual, couple, and group counseling to patients with a range of mental health needs
- Provide crisis counseling and consultation services to patients and their families
- Consult with patient collaterals, such as parents, siblings, and direct care providers, to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide referrals and case management services to patients and their families
- Graduation from a regionally accredited school with a degree in psychology or a related field
- Current licensure and registration to practice in New York State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to travel to other sites for coverage as needed
- Bilingual or multilingual skills a plus
- Scheduling software and electronic medical record (EMR) experience, preferably with eClinicalWorks
- Four weeks of paid vacation per year
