Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Long Island Select Healthcare Inc. (LISH). As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive mental health services to our patients.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough mental health intake evaluations to assess patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer psychological evaluations and other clinical assessments to diagnose and treat mental health conditions.
  • Provide individual, couple, and group counseling sessions to support patients in achieving their mental health goals.
  • Offer crisis counseling and provide referrals and case management services as needed.
  • Collaborate with patients' collaterals, such as family members and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from a regionally accredited school with a degree in psychology or a related field.
  • Licensure and registration to practice in New York State.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Ability to travel to other sites as needed.
  • Bilingualism is a plus.
  • Experience with scheduling software and electronic medical records (EMRs) is preferred.
