Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients.
  • Conducting thorough assessments upon patient admission.
  • Documenting patient evaluations and educational needs.
  • Communicating changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team.
  • Administering medications and maintaining accurate records.
  • Providing detailed inter-shift reports.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program is required.
- Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.

Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification within 6 months.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENCP) certification within 24 months.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 24 months.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 12 months.
