Job Summary

McGough Construction is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Project Manager to lead our construction projects from start to finish. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all project aspects, including financials, client satisfaction, and project success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project financials, including fee retention and client satisfaction
  • Oversee project success, including overall project management and client relationships
  • Mentor and coach Asst. Project Managers and Project Engineers
  • Develop skills to successfully manage projects, including risk assessment and scope changes
  • Foster and build relationships with owners, design partners, subcontractors, and suppliers
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Experience in self-perform project environment and unionized labor setting
  • Demonstrated experience building strong partnerships and trust with external partners
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment policies and procedures
  • Ability to deliver project gross margin on project assignments
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Estimating and field experience
  • Scheduling experience
Work Environment

Position involves sitting for extended periods while working at a computer terminal. Employee must be able to communicate effectively in a typical office environment with a standard level of office noise. Occasional standing, bending, walking, and lifting is also required.

Employee will be required to visit construction jobsites, which may expose the employee to dirt, dust, uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions, and extreme temperatures.
