Key Responsibilities:
The following are the duties of this position at the full working level:
1. Identifies potential and actual issues, analyzes probable causes, and provides recommendations for resolution.
2. Conducts research on various topics, compiles statistics and information, and reports findings relevant to the full scope of a program or function.
3. Monitors, reviews, and evaluates operations and interrelationships with other functions regarding workflow, work redundancy, or systemic issues, and provides recommendations to higher-level analysts or supervisors.
4. Verifies the completeness of controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures, guidelines, and formats.
5. Revises procedures, guidelines, and controls in response to changes in higher-level procedures or as directed by analysts or comparable positions.

Career Progression:
This position offers opportunities for career advancement. If selected at a grade level lower than the full working level, you may be non-competitively promoted as your career progresses. For instance, you may start at a GS-05 level, with the potential to advance to GS-11 within a few years.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National and provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.

Qualifications:
- Federal experience is not mandatory. Experience may be gained in the public or private sector. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
- To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate employment dates by month/year and number of hours worked per week on your resume.

Specialized Experience:
- For GS-05: One year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-04 level in the Federal government.
- For GS-06: One year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level in the Federal government.
- For GS-07: One year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in the Federal government.

Education:
- For positions with an education requirement, or if qualifying by substituting education or training for experience, submit a copy of your transcripts or equivalent.

Additional Information:
- Subject to a 1-year probationary period (unless already completed).
- Salary will be sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
- We may select from this announcement or any other source to fill one or more vacancies. Additional jobs may be filled.
- This is a Non-Bargaining unit position.

Tour of Duty:
- Monday-Friday: Day Shift - Start and stop times between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
- Alternative work schedules, staggered work hours, or telework may be available.
