Position Overview

Account Executive
We are in search of a skilled Account Executive to join our sales team in Atlanta. This role involves a full cycle sales process, including client acquisition and retention, needs assessment, estimate submission, order procurement, and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate and expand a qualified client base through various marketing strategies, including direct mail, referrals, advertising, trade shows, and cold calling.

• Identify and assess customer needs to provide tailored solutions.

• Negotiate pricing and terms in alignment with company policies.

• Process service orders efficiently.

• Develop expertise in estimating and prepare detailed estimates for project management purposes, including planning, organizing, and scheduling work.

• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to formulate estimates and resolve any issues.

• Analyze project documentation, including blueprints and specifications, to assist in preparing time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.

• Address inquiries from customers and subcontractors in a timely manner.

• Conduct site visits to monitor job quality and gather feedback from Project Managers and clients.

• Work closely with the Project Manager and Director to clarify contract requirements.

• Participate in training initiatives for sales staff.

• Engage actively in professional organizations and provide valuable insights to industry councils.

• Develop, implement, and manage sales goals and business development plans in accordance with company standards.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of existing and new product services.

• Collect and report information on competitor activities.

• Assist in the collection of overdue accounts.

• Foster positive working relationships with both field and administrative teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Construction Management.

• At least five years of experience in direct sales, excluding telemarketing or inside sales.

• Proficient in reading and estimating from blueprints.

• Knowledge and experience in estimating within a paving, landscaping, or construction environment is advantageous.

• Strong mathematical and geometric skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
