Clinical Staff Supervisor Role
The Clinical Staff Supervisor plays a vital role in managing the clinical support staff and coordinating clinical workflows and activities within the clinic. This position functions as an integral member of the clinic leadership team, bringing a professional nursing perspective to the group and upholding the standards of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the care provided by clinical support staff
- Initiate efforts to improve the quality and skill levels of clinical staff members
- Lead clinical staff to ensure patient care services are provided in an efficient, safe, and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with established clinic policies and procedures
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire for locations in Washington
- 3 years direct patient care, preferably in an ambulatory setting
- 1 year in a supervisory position, preferably in an ambulatory setting
- Clinical experience in triage principles of patient assessment
- Experience in delegation of nursing responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel, preferably within the ambulatory setting
