Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in formulating comprehensive sales and marketing strategies for designated properties.
  • Provide training and development for hotel staff in sales techniques as necessary.
  • Evaluate revenue management approaches utilizing tools such as Star Reports and demand analysis.
  • Schedule and conduct sales appointments and outreach calls.
  • Maintain organized records of sales data and activities.
  • Fulfill requests from General Manager and other management personnel as needed.
  • Deliver weekly summaries of sales activities and follow-up tasks to the Corporate Director of Sales.
  • Engage in sales conference calls as required.
  • Perform essential duties of the Director of Sales or Sales Manager in their absence.
  • Travel to various properties may be necessary based on sales requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, coordinating details and special requests.
  • Provide necessary materials and direct inquiries to the sales management team.
  • Conduct site tours as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments for the delivery of equipment and catering for meetings.
  • Participate in sales calls and outreach efforts alongside the Sales Department.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality sales or management is required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Aptitude for addressing complex problems with multiple variables.
  • Experience with properties of comparable size and quality is essential.
