Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Operations Team Lead to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring that our members receive exceptional service and that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist management in supervising associates and ensuring that they are trained and equipped to provide excellent member service.
  • Communicate goals and feedback to associates, and provide guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their performance expectations.
  • Process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, and encourage membership renewals to meet sales and revenue goals.
  • Participate in sales and marketing events, and complete and maintain marketing recaps and other required documentation.
  • Ensure that our store is well-organized and that merchandise is properly displayed and maintained.
  • Handle claims and returns, and assist members with transporting items and utilizing cart retrieval equipment.
  • Develop and implement processes and practices to meet business needs, and collaborate with managers, co-workers, and customers to achieve goals.
  • Lead and participate in teams, and use and share resources, information, and tools to ensure that work assignments are completed on time and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • 6 months retail experience, including operating front-end equipment and providing customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with associates, managers, and customers.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
