Job Summary

As a key member of our Deposit Operations department, you will be responsible for managing deposit operations staff, promoting a high level of customer service, and overseeing routine facility maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day branch activities, staffing and scheduling, ensuring the efficient operations of a full-service branch.
  • Provide direction and guidance to deposit operations staff on operational and regulatory procedures, ensuring compliance with operations, security and audit procedures.
  • Assume a proactive role in customer interaction and service to include meeting with customers to discuss their specific banking needs.
  • Lead by example and ensure customers are serviced in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Monitor and perform the activities of the deposit operations staff within the branch, including but not limited to: sales efforts, opening and processing of deposit accounts and services, teller transactions, entry of account data into financial institution computer systems.
  • Coach, develop, and lead a team capable of analyzing client needs and recommending financial solutions.
  • Hire, supervise, train and counsel staff. Review staff for formal performance evaluations and wage recommendations.
  • Ensure the building is maintained by contracting service and/or repair vendors when necessary. Obtain approval for other routine maintenance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred, and two to five years of related experience; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess stellar interpersonal communication skills.
