Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at RemX. The ideal candidate will possess experience in blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.

The Clinical Laboratory Specialist will be responsible for collecting and storing specimens according to established procedures. They will also properly explain the process of venipuncture to patients and demonstrate technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and storing specimens according to established procedures
  • Properly explaining the process of venipuncture to patients
  • Demonstrating technique using straight needles and/or butterfly needles
  • Matching laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes

A successful Clinical Laboratory Specialist will have valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where they will be employed, a minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
