Job Description:

We are looking for an Environmental Field Specialist to join our team at Medical Technology Associates LLC.

The estimated salary for this position is $58,000 - $68,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Job:

  • This is a field-based position requiring frequent travel (90% or more) across the country.
  • As an Environmental Field Specialist, you will be responsible for performing certifications, testing, and maintenance of clean rooms, hoods, and infusion centers in pharmacies, laboratories, and hospitals nationwide.

Responsibilities:

  1. Servicing MTA accounts for thorough and accurate verifications and certifications of clean rooms, biological safety cabinets, laminar flow hoods, fume hoods, and other controlled environment equipment.
  2. Traveling on an established route to test, certify, and perform maintenance/repair of controlled environment equipment.
  3. Utilizing Field Aware system for job scheduling, job tracking, and time reporting.
  4. Providing high-quality customer service and reports to customers on equipment performance.

Requirements:

  • CETA, NEBB, or NSF certification preferred.
  • Background in air balancing, biomedical, pharmaceutical, HVAC, environmental testing, and/or clean rooms is a plus.
  • Prior experience as a Field Service Technician, 3-5 years preferred.
  • Strong mathematical, mechanical, and electrical aptitude required.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, passion for quality and accuracy.
  • Highly organized, exceptional customer service skills & professional appearance and behavior.
