Job Summary
The Clinical Pharmacist position provides clinical support to customers through all clinical programs offered, including adherence, immunizations, and MTM interventions. This role ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines, company policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Support customer whole health by providing healthcare services, such as patient consultation, medication management, immunizations, diagnostic testing, and patient outcomes services, in compliance with regulatory requirements and Rite Aid policies.
- Engage with customers telephonically and in-person by anticipating needs and proactively offering services.
- Provide clinical expertise and utilize decision-making skills to evaluate and discuss MTM and other healthcare opportunities with customers, while collaborating with prescribers.
- Participate in required learnings, trainings, and certification programs as assigned and comply with related activities and tasks throughout job execution.
Qualifications:
This role requires a Ph.D. in Pharmacy and an active pharmacist license in good standing for the state in which one works, as well as eligibility for licensure in additional states. Immunization Certification and a Pharmacist-based Point of Care Testing Certificate Program are also required.
