Emergency Veterinary Operations Manager

Fetch Veterinary is a privately owned, multi-specialty group of veterinary practices dedicated to providing exceptional care for animals. Our facilities are equipped with specialty services and round-the-clock emergency support.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Operations Manager to oversee our Emergency and Critical Care Departments. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and client satisfaction at our newest location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor the emergency services team, balancing hands-on leadership with administrative duties.
  • Manage daily operations of the Emergency and Critical Care departments, including staff scheduling and resource management.
  • Ensure adherence to veterinary regulations and operational standards.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance assessments of the emergency care veterinary team.
  • Work closely with inventory management to maintain adequate medical supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless patient care and exceptional client service.
  • Address client inquiries and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Analyze department performance metrics to identify opportunities for enhancement.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in veterinary practice management, with a focus on emergency services preferred.
  • Credentialed technician status is required; Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) is preferred.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with veterinary practice operations and medical terminology.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in veterinary practice management software.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding patient care and client service.
