Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled Operations Supervisor to oversee our Specialty Services at our latest location. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing practice and positively influence the well-being of animals.

Key Responsibilities:
As a pivotal leader within our organization, you will:

  • Lead and mentor the specialty services team, ensuring a collaborative and effective work environment (70% hands-on, 30% administrative tasks).
  • Oversee the daily functions of the Specialty Services department, including staff scheduling and operational workflows.
  • Guarantee outstanding patient care through effective team training and oversight.
  • Work in partnership with other department leaders to facilitate seamless communication and service coordination.
  • Establish and uphold policies and procedures for the Specialty Services department.
  • Evaluate department performance metrics and devise strategies for ongoing enhancement.
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new personnel.
  • Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • Credentialed Veterinary Technician status is required; Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) designation is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a specialty veterinary setting.
  • Experience in veterinary management is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven capability to cultivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of veterinary operations and industry best practices.
  • Understanding of financial oversight and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with veterinary management software.
  • A bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline is preferred.
