Veterinary Department Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Veterinary Practice Manager to lead our Specialty Services department at our newest location in Florida. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the department, ensuring exceptional patient care and client service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Department Leadership: Direct and supervise a team of veterinary professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and client service.
- Operational Management: Manage the daily operations of the Specialty Services department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow.
- Team Development: Ensure excellent patient care through team training and supervision, and develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other department managers to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
- Policies and Procedures: Implement and maintain policies and protocols for the Specialty Services department.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor department performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Recruitment and Training: Assist in recruitment, hiring, and training of new team members.
- Guest Experience: Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Credentials: Credentialed Veterinary Technician - Required; VTS - Preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in specialty veterinary practice is required.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to develop and manage a team.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with knowledge of veterinary practice operations and best practices.
- Financial Management: Understanding of financial management and budgeting, with proficiency in veterinary practice management software.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred.
