About the Position

IMCO Construction is seeking a highly skilled Regional Safety Coordinator to join our team in the Pacific Northwest. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Safety and be responsible for implementing and overseeing the safety policies and procedures of IMCO Construction and its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with site personnel to develop and implement safety training programs.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain safety documentation, including safety procedures, training records, and incident reports.
  • Provide safety support to multiple construction sites, including coordinating safety resources and personnel.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as occupational health and safety, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial health and safety, with a strong background in safety management and compliance.
  • HAZWOPER and OSHA training certificates are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Current and valid driver's license, with a clean and insurable driving record.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Pre-employment drug testing required.
  • Criminal background check required; must be able to pass security clearance requirements for select projects.
