Job Summary

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a Produce Sales Associate to join our team. As a Produce Sales Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the department appearance, quality, variety, safety, and food safety are consistently maintained at the highest level. You will also be responsible for building customer relations and providing enthusiastic customer awareness.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the produce department.
* Ensure that all produce is properly stored, rotated, and displayed to meet company standards.
* Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers about produce products.
* Work effectively in a team environment to achieve department goals and objectives.

Requirements

* Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Preferred Requirements

* Previous experience in a produce department or customer service role.
* Knowledge of produce products and their uses.
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
