Position Overview:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring a secure and healthy maintenance environment by complying with organizational standards and legal regulations. This role involves promptly addressing issues and notifying relevant personnel about potential concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee maintenance personnel by recruiting, training, assigning tasks, scheduling shifts, and providing guidance and discipline as necessary.
  2. Set clear job expectations, monitor performance, and evaluate contributions while recommending compensation adjustments in line with established policies.
  3. Ensure maintenance objectives are met by effectively orienting and coaching team members.
  4. Maintain productivity and quality standards by resolving operational challenges and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving measures.
  5. Manage shift operations by reviewing reports from previous shifts and allocating resources accordingly.
  6. Document maintenance activities accurately through forms, reports, logs, and records.
  7. Contribute to the overall success of the maintenance department by welcoming diverse requests and assisting colleagues in achieving their goals.

Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will have experience supervising the installation and upkeep of electrical and mechanical equipment utilized in company operations. Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the installation and maintenance of machinery.
  • Providing direction and training to maintenance staff while monitoring their performance.
  • Coordinating the upkeep of production equipment.
  • Ensuring adherence to technical process control and quality assurance standards.

Experience:

2-5 years of relevant professional experience is required.

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field along with 2-5 years of professional experience, or an advanced degree with 0-3 years of experience.
