Audit Internship Opportunity Spring Internships
At HBK CPAs & Consultants, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Audit Intern. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the public accounting profession and develop a deeper understanding of the firm and its operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in accounting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a team-oriented mindset. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about public accounting, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other audit-related documents
- Conduct research and analysis to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues
- Develop an understanding of the audit approach and tools
- Work closely with all levels of HBK team members to ensure timely and high-quality work products
Requirements:
- Junior or Senior status majoring in accounting
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Completed Intermediate accounting course and a minimum of one tax class
- Excellent computer skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills
- Team player
Upon successful completion of the internship, students may be presented with a verbal offer for a second internship (juniors), or with a full-time offer of employment (seniors) followed by a formal written offer letter.
