We are currently seeking a dedicated Patient Representative for our MRI department, who will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver outstanding customer service during patient check-in and throughout their visit.
- Manage patient tracking within the Electronic Medical Record system while collecting co-pays and ensuring all necessary forms are completed.
- Verify, update, and scan patient information for both new and returning patients.
- Facilitate the patient check-out process, including collecting outstanding balances and scheduling follow-up appointments.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers.
- Input patient admission details into the computer system.
- Secure signed statements from patients to safeguard the clinic's interests.
- Collect co-pays and payments on accounts as necessary.
- Travel to various clinic locations as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Skills:
Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers and telephones. Proficient in multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to effectively collaborate with patients, physicians, and staff across all levels of the organization. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate departmental needs.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. A minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
