MRI Technologist Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at West Suburban Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic MRI scans using proper positioning and technique
- Screen patients for contraindications and precautions
- Obtain and review requisitions for reexamination
- Explain procedures to patients and facilitate cooperation
- Monitor patient conditions and assist radiologists as needed
- Maintain equipment and work areas in good condition
- Prepare examination results for interpretation
- Assist with patient scheduling and preparation
- Completion of an Allied Health Education and an AMA-approved program in Radiology
- Current ARRT certification or advanced MRI certification
- One year of full-time general radiology and MRI experience
- CPR certification
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
