About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Development Specialist to join our team at Toyoda Gosei Americas. This is an exciting opportunity to work on delivering professional-level design and engineering for customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead product development efforts with customers and team members, negotiating designs and engineering requirements to meet quality, feasibility, cost, and profitability requirements
  • Collaborate with design and engineering members to create 2/3D proposals for new product designs, delegate work, and manage design changes
  • Benchmark competitor components and emerging technologies; propose ways to increase competitiveness
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering; major in Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred
  • Minimum of five years of experience designing and engineering plastic injection molded components
  • Must possess knowledge of Plastic engineering design for automotive components, as well as geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), along with proficiency in tolerance stack-up studies
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is around $110,000 per year. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage, as well as life insurance and disability benefits.
