POSITION OVERVIEW

The Supply Chain Analyst I role is integral to various divisions within the organization, including but not limited to finance, production, and purchasing. This position involves independently conducting process evaluations within the designated area of expertise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Pistachio Inventory Specialist – Customer Availability

  • Conducts comprehensive yield assessments and density evaluations across the facility.
  • Establishes initial processing yield standards for the year.
  • Clarifies discrepancies in dry weight and inventory adjustments.
  • Utilizes inventory updates to manage customer availability effectively.
  • Communicates yield performance metrics on a weekly basis.
  • Participates actively in daily and monthly production discussions.
  • Analyzes quality and yield data to optimize crop availability for customers.
  • Collaborates with operations to devise a strategy for silo selection that ensures quality delivery.
  • Monitors silo drawdown across all facilities to facilitate transition planning.
  • Oversees harvest silo conditions, filling processes, and capacity issues.
  • Prepares monthly financial reports, including inventory rollforwards and production summaries.
  • Tracks plant performance against production targets for various preprocessing functions.

Sales Coordination Duties

  • Evaluates daily capacity and demand against production plans and forecasts.
  • Compares sales data with production schedules on a weekly basis.
  • Assists scheduling teams in resolving issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Reviews inventory parameters to maintain a customer-focused reorder process.
  • Reports on both short-term and long-term capacity assessments.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Creates professional presentations as needed.
  • Documents and defines business functions and processes within the assigned department.
  • Conducts research and compiles statistical reports using internal data systems.
  • Performs change impact analyses to evaluate potential implications of modifications.
  • Consults with management to identify and document business needs and objectives.
  • Provides guidance to technical or clerical staff and leads designated projects.
  • Recommends and implements process changes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Engages in strategic business analysis to support departmental objectives.
  • Assists with special projects and other assigned duties.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Language Proficiency

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

COMPENSATION

Salary range: $66,560 - $77,500 annually, with potential for a discretionary bonus based on skills and experience.
