Role Overview:
As a vital member of our quality assurance team, you will play a key role in our mission to enable engineering breakthroughs that contribute to a better tomorrow. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing quality strategies that address significant engineering challenges in the aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead quality initiatives for production, transitions, and new product development.
  • Implement the Parker Zero Defect Process, guiding suppliers in the creation of AS9145 compliant PPAP documentation, including FMEAs, control plans, and measurement system analyses.
  • Review and validate supplier-generated process documentation and quality plans.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to enhance their PPAP capabilities and the quality of submissions.
  • Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives for incoming materials.
  • Oversee Material Review Board activities to manage nonconforming products and facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Engage in product development discussions to ensure quality considerations are integrated into engineering changes and manufacturing processes.
  • Evaluate supplier performance metrics and lead systemic defect elimination efforts.
  • Travel may be required on a limited basis.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline. ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or CQE certification is preferred.
  • Extensive quality engineering experience within the aerospace or automotive industries, particularly in design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing environments.
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in PPAP and APQP documentation processes, with a strong understanding of variation management, SPC, PFMEA, and control plans.
  • Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ANSI Y14.5) for interpreting manufacturing specifications.
  • Experience with various manufacturing components, including machined parts, castings, and electronic assemblies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, utilizing methodologies such as 8D and Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and customer quality requirements, including AS9100.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality analysis tools like Minitab and Infinity QS.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong project management capabilities.
