Contract Duration: Ongoing

Work Schedule: 16 hours per week - 1099

Job Responsibilities:

The Mechanical Quality Assurance Inspector will be tasked with traveling to various supplier locations to conduct visual and dimensional assessments on manufactured components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. Inspections will be carried out in accordance with engineering specifications, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. The inspector is expected to communicate inspection results directly to the client through a web-based application.

Qualifications:


• Proficient in interpreting complex engineering drawings and specifications (ANSI-Y-14.5)
• At least six (6) years of hands-on experience in the aerospace sector, focusing on product verification and supplier oversight
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in various aircraft commodities, including Structures, Mechanical Assemblies, Precision Machined Parts, Sheet Metal Components, Fasteners, Castings and Forgings, Engines, Hydraulics, Electrical Systems, Avionics, Raw Materials, and Special Processes (Welding, Coatings, NDT, Heat Treatment, Bonding)
• Familiarity with First Article Inspection (FAI) and Flight Safety Products
• Access to a personal computer with email and internet capabilities
• Must possess a functional mobile phone
• Successful completion of the Basic Mechanical Test with a minimum score of 84%
• Experience with Digital Data interpretation is required; navigation/programming skills are not necessary.


• Must be eligible to provide services in the United States with appropriate documentation as outlined in the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (BICE) form I-9.
