Our center is a state-operated psychiatric institution dedicated to providing comprehensive care for children under eighteen facing severe mental health challenges. Nestled in a serene environment, we focus on fostering individual and social skills to ensure a positive future for each child.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct utilization assessments to determine suitable care levels and duration for patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize resource utilization.
  • Develop and enforce utilization review protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal regulations concerning mental health services.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff regarding utilization review practices.
  • Prepare analytical reports to monitor performance metrics.

Position Details

  • Full-time commitment, 40 hours weekly
  • Standard working hours
  • Monday through Friday

Selection Criteria

  • Applicants must meet the minimum experience and training requirements by the application deadline.
  • Regular monitoring of application status is encouraged.
  • Compliance with Public Act regulations is mandatory.
  • Additional documentation may be requested during the recruitment process.

Job Purpose

This role is accountable for a comprehensive range of duties related to the evaluation and review of healthcare delivery systems and programs aimed at promoting cost-effective quality care.

Qualifications

  • Three years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse.
  • One year of experience in a relevant healthcare setting is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in nursing may substitute for one year of general experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in quality assurance and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare standards.
