Program Overview:

The Office of Performance Analysis and Integrity is responsible for overseeing the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), a vital center for data management and analytics. Our team is dedicated to providing extensive support for the EDW, which includes project management, data warehouse oversight, advanced analytics, and more. We strive to enhance business intelligence capabilities and predictive analytics while ensuring the security and integrity of the data.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Gather, organize, and assess data to evaluate business processes and programs, assisting the Program Manager and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying new data sources and analyzing pertinent data for process evaluation and requirements gathering.
  • Assist in the development and revision of program deliverables, ensuring they meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Engage in stakeholder meetings to comprehend and document business requirements, facilitating their integration into project activities.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to junior Program Analysts.
  • Deliver precise and timely status updates on assigned tasks, maintaining documentation on team activities and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize ad hoc report development and ensure data consistency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant business discipline; additional 8 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 10+ years of pertinent experience in analyzing and evaluating processes and programs.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting recommendations and providing training.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain required security clearance.
