About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team at First Children Services. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting children with autism and other developmental disabilities to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work one-on-one with clients in independent and group settings to promote social, behavioral, and communication skills.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to address specific needs and goals.
  • Collect and submit session data in a timely manner to ensure accurate progress tracking.
  • Support healthy communication, social, and behavioral skills through interactive therapeutic support.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to increase positive behavioral outcomes and improve overall client well-being.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children.
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Education.
  • 1 year of experience in a direct care human services profession preferred but not required.
  • Comfortable using technology for daily documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and run during shifts.
