Job Description:

Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a skilled Maternal Child Nurse to join our team in the Labor and Delivery department. This is a PRN day shift position, requiring flexibility to meet the needs of our patients.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of assigned patients. They will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which they reside. A BLS certification is also required, with NRP and ACLS certifications obtained within the orientation period. AWHONN Fetal Monitoring course completion is mandatory within the same timeframe.
