RN - Inpatient Surgical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Surgical team at Swedish First Hill. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, identify, and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care, administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and safety.
- Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with the latest research, technologies, and best practices in inpatient surgical nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
- National Provider BLS certification.
- One year of experience in inpatient surgery.
- National certification in area of specialty.
