RN - Inpatient Surgical Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the General Surgical Unit at Swedish Health Services. As a RN in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, identify, and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development, staying current with the latest nursing research and best practices.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- At least one year of experience in inpatient surgery.
- National Certification in area of specialty.
