Job Overview

Compensation: $13.96 per hour

Position Summary:

The Classic Center is seeking dedicated Security Operations Specialists to ensure the safety and security of our facilities. These professionals play a crucial role in protecting the organization's assets while fulfilling their assigned responsibilities with diligence and reliability. Security Operations Specialists are tasked with monitoring the premises during their shifts and may be called upon to perform additional duties during emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Providing assistance to visitors and acting as a representative of public relations.
  2. Ensuring the safety of personnel within the facility.
  3. Serving as a deterrent against criminal activities and safeguarding proprietary information. Identifying and reporting potential hazards while restricting access to unauthorized individuals.
  4. Monitoring for illegal substance use and inappropriate alcohol consumption.
  5. Overseeing the exit of materials from the facility to ensure that company property is not removed without proper authorization.
  6. Assisting with parking operations and ticketing as directed by the Parking Operations Manager.
  7. Maintaining a secure environment by detecting, deterring, and reporting any violations of facility policies, safety issues, or attempts at theft and vandalism. Security personnel will provide crowd control and guidance as necessary.

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Strong customer service skills and experience in a team-oriented setting.
  3. This role requires frequent walking throughout the facility and the ability to lift materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
  4. Must be able to see, hear, and communicate effectively in English.

Note: Candidates selected for this position must successfully complete a drug screening and a criminal background check.
