Position: Collision Center Automotive / Truck Collision Repair Estimator

American National Fleet Service is in search of a proactive and assertive individual to join our expanding Collision Center Management Team. This motivated candidate will be tasked with generating precise automotive collision repair estimates, fostering client relationships, securing orders, and delivering exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients. Furthermore, this role requires the individual to refine their estimating expertise within the medium/heavy-duty truck and equipment sector. Previous estimating experience in the medium/heavy-duty commercial truck industry is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare professional, accurate, and consistent collision repair estimates using CCC One estimating software, including photo app estimating procedures and guidelines. Document any additional damage discovered during the repair process and create supplements for insurance companies, corporate clients, and fleet management firms.
  • Understand the fundamental aspects of insurance programs, fleet management companies, and both DRP and non-DRP programs.
  • Handle all incoming calls appropriately, securing signatures, authorizations, and power of attorney for all repair transactions while establishing the payment method for each customer.
  • Maintain timely and effective communication with customers regarding the vehicle repair process.
  • Review and finalize all invoices, supplements, and vehicles before contacting customers for delivery.
  • Monitor the production schedule for assigned vehicles and relay those targets to customers and team members.
  • Oversee the closure of service orders and the collection of Accounts Receivable on all insurance claims and corporate accounts.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will exhibit a positive and professional demeanor. A strong desire to collaborate as part of a team to achieve company goals and a drive to excel and advance within the organization are essential. This role requires a self-starter who can operate effectively with minimal supervision following the initial training period.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Ability to produce accurate and consistent estimates.
  • Experience in medium/heavy truck collision estimating using Mitchell Connect is a plus.
  • Prior experience in auto body collision with comprehensive knowledge of vehicles and repair processes is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is required.
  • A valid driver's license with no more than two minor violations within a three-year period and must be insurable with our current insurance provider.
  • Capability to pass a background check.
