Key Responsibilities:
- Safety: Always prioritize safety in all tasks.
- Organization: Maintain a tidy and systematic work environment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Possess a thorough understanding of vehicle systems to identify potential failures.
- Brakes: Understand brake system operations and be able to inspect, test, and repair components.
- Steering and Suspension: Knowledge of steering and suspension systems, including alignment requirements.
- Drivetrain: Familiarity with drivetrain components and the ability to diagnose and repair issues.
- Electrical and Electronic Systems: Knowledge of basic and advanced electrical circuits.
- HVAC Systems: Understanding of engine heating and cooling systems, along with refrigerant properties.
- Engines: Knowledge of both diesel and gasoline engines, including their internal components and functions.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive and professional demeanor. A commitment to teamwork and the ambition to grow with the company are essential. This role requires a self-starter who can work independently after initial training.
Additional qualifications include:
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Possession of essential tools for job responsibilities.
- Familiarity with diagnostic and repair equipment.
- Preferred: ASE Certifications, Factory Training/Certifications from Ford, Chrysler, and GM.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Compliance with background checks and drug testing.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
