Position: Collision Center Automotive / Truck Collision Repair Estimator

American National Fleet Service is in search of a proactive and assertive individual to join our expanding Collision Center Management Team. This dedicated professional will be tasked with generating precise automotive collision repair estimates, fostering client relationships, driving orders, and delivering exceptional customer service to both new and existing clients. Additionally, this individual will refine their estimating expertise in the medium and heavy-duty truck and equipment sector. Previous estimating experience in the medium/heavy-duty commercial truck industry is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafts professional, accurate, and consistent collision repair estimates using CCC One estimating software, including photo app estimating procedures and guidelines. Diligently documents any additional damage discovered during the repair process and prepares supplements for insurance companies, corporate clients, and fleet management firms.
  • Possesses a fundamental understanding of insurance programs, fleet management companies, and both DRP and non-DRP programs.
  • Handles all incoming calls appropriately, securing signatures, authorizations, and power of attorney for all repair transactions. Establishes each customer's payment method.
  • Communicates effectively with each customer regarding the vehicle repair process in a timely manner.
  • Formulates and reviews all final invoices, supplements, and vehicles prior to customer delivery.
  • Monitors the production schedule for assigned vehicles and communicates targets to customers and colleagues.
  • Responsible for closing service orders and collecting Accounts Receivable on all insurance claims and corporate accounts.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a positive, professional demeanor. A strong desire to collaborate as part of a team to achieve company goals and the ambition to succeed and grow within the organization is essential. This role requires a self-starter who can operate effectively with minimal supervision following the initial training period.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Ability to produce accurate and consistent estimates.
  • Experience in medium/heavy truck collision estimate writing, particularly with Mitchell Connect, is a significant plus.
  • Prior experience in auto body collision with a comprehensive understanding of vehicles and repair processes is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is required.
  • A valid driver's license with no more than two minor driving violations within a three-year period; a maximum of four points, and must be insurable with our current insurance provider.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
Compensation:

This position offers an hourly wage plus commission, with no cap on earning potential. Our established customer base is well-maintained within a defined territory.
