Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building relationships with customers, and driving sales growth through effective product knowledge and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to make personalized product recommendations.
  • Drive sales growth through effective product knowledge, demonstrating products, and making recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, staying up-to-date on new products, promotions, and sales.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive store environment, promoting a culture of teamwork and respect.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Operate cash register and execute cash handling to standards.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including online and in-store sales.

Requirements

  • Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
  • Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting sales and productivity goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to move throughout the store.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
  • Lifting heavy boxes and frames and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.

Work Environment

  • Public retail store setting, taking care of our customers.
  • All public areas are climate-controlled.
  • Some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled.
  • Some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks.
  • Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press.
