Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the store team to meet and exceed Vitamin World's objectives.
- Engage with customers to assess their needs and preferences regarding products, providing answers and recommendations as necessary.
- Retrieve products from the sales area, stockroom, or other inventory spaces, and process special orders.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of store offerings to drive sales.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with genuine enthusiasm that reflects Vitamin World's dedication to customer satisfaction.
- Operate the store's point of sale system, handle transactions, provide change, issue receipts, and package products for customers.
- Ensure the store environment is consistently clean and welcoming.
- Organize and display merchandise to attract customer interest.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales and customer service is essential.
- A strong passion for health, nutrition, fitness, and assisting others is required.
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer relationship skills are necessary.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs (stock) is a must.
