Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Hickory House Recovery. This role requires a strong understanding of mental health principles and the ability to provide support to clients in a residential treatment setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and integrate client-centered treatment plans, working closely with clinical and medical staff.
  • Monitor and report on client activities, providing structure and support as needed.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance in all client communication, ensuring confidentiality and integrity.
  • Facilitate educational groups for recovery and relapse prevention.
  • Assist with medication dispensing and documentation, adhering to regulations and EMR schedules.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in mental health preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and staff.
  • Positive demeanor, clear professional boundaries, and intrinsic motivation essential.
  • Scheduling flexibility, holiday, and weekend rotation required; dependability and punctuality crucial.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record; own insured transportation necessary.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year.
