Assembly Specialist

Job Summary:
The Assembly Specialist will play a vital role in keeping production running smoothly at Alloy Engineering CO. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with different departments and support various areas of the production floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare work areas and maintain a clean and organized plant environment.
- Work as an apprentice in several areas of the production floor to gain experience and knowledge.
- Contribute to team effort by collaborating and supporting the team on projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work with general hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, cutting tools, and table saws.
- Familiarity with tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
- Basic math skills.
- Forklift experience and certification.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other departments.
Physical Requirements:
- Sit, stand, bend, and climb ladders daily.
- Lift at least 50 pounds infrequently.
- Ability to wear a dust mask or breathing respirator while performing some job tasks.
Growth Opportunities:
- Work with other departments to prevent problems with products.
- Stay informed with new manufacturing technology.
- Potential for Lean certification.
