About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading process-driven initiatives, developing robust supply bases, and driving continuous improvement. As a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is designed into parts and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supplier quality strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead regular supplier quality meetings, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with supply chain teams for supplier sourcing, qualification, selection, and development.
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and operations teams on new product development, ensuring quality is integrated from design to delivery.
  • Oversee new part validation, including FAI, incoming inspection requirements, and Cpk data verification.
  • Develop and maintain supplier scorecards, track KPIs, and work with suppliers on action plans to improve performance.
  • Lead technical reviews of new components and existing components with suppliers and engineering teams.
  • Audit and assess suppliers' processes, including travel to supplier sites (approximately 10-15% of the time).
  • Advocate for a process-focused approach across all functions.
  • Participate as a member of the Material Review Board.
  • Support external certification audits (e.g., ISO 9001:2015).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least three years of experience in manufacturing industries as a Supplier Quality Engineer.

  • Supplier DPPM and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) Calculation
  • MSA (Measurement System Analysis)

  • FMEA

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
