Job Summary:

Ferguson is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Representative to join our sales team. As a Sales Support Representative, you will play a critical role in supporting our outside sales team by managing relationships with internal and external customers, delivering outstanding customer service, and providing technical assistance and guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the outside sales team in managing relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while providing technical assistance and guidance.
  • Interact and develop relationships with key vendors to support sales.
  • Be a team player and work with our waterworks sales team to support quotations.
  • Form solid relationships to establish trust within the district.
  • Will be willing to learn and train continually with products.
  • Provide hands-on assistance on an as-needed basis such as helping assist customers on the parts counter and providing backup support in the warehouse.

Requirements:

  • 0-3 years sales and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous project management experience a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
  • A high level of integrity when problem solving.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
