About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Store Cleaning Associate to join our team at Marshalls. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive customer experience, and supporting the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care and Maintenance: Operate the scrubber and buffer, dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and spot clean glass and windows to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Organizational and Cleanliness Standards: Maintain all floor care cleanliness standards, including the maintenance and operation of the scrubber and buffer, and adhere to all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the entire store.
  • Customer Service: Role model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers, providing exceptional service and support to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store, supporting the needs of the business and adapting to changing priorities and situations.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to all company policies concerning Health and Safety, including the refilling of essential items in the Lounge, Restrooms, and Front End.
  • Merchandising and Recovery: Adhere to all operational and loss prevention controls, including shrink reduction, and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate accurately and effectively with management and associates, providing clear and concise information and supporting a positive store culture.

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional service and support to internal and external customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Work a flexible schedule to support business needs, adapting to changing priorities and situations.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards.
  • Physical Stamina: Perform cleaning tasks and operate equipment, such as the scrubber and buffer, with physical stamina and endurance.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with management and associates, providing clear and concise information.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work effectively with peers and supervisors, supporting a positive store culture and adapting to changing situations.
