Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at the King Ranch Fort Worth Store. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, generating sales, and maintaining a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting products, ensuring a professional and personalized experience.
  • Be proficient in up-selling and cross-selling merchandise to increase sales.
  • Provide a friendly and professional environment, including greeting and acknowledging customers.
  • Demonstrate solid product knowledge, including function and care.
  • Maintain awareness of all merchandise promotions, sales, and advertisements.
  • Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
  • Process and replenish merchandise, participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock.
  • Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers.
  • Communicate customer requests to management.
  • Promote and answer questions about the history of King Ranch to customers.
  • Transfer and stock materials for the store.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read on a high school level.
  • Ability to perform mathematical equations on a high school level.
  • Ability to process information/merchandise through computer system and POS register system.
  • Ability to communicate and effectively interact with associates and customers.
  • Ability to read, count, calculate, and write to accurately complete forms, product instructions, and inventory logs.
  • Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.

Work Environment:

The King Ranch Fort Worth Store is a retail store located in Fort Worth, TX. The physical demands of this position include the ability to climb ladders or multiple flights of stairs, move or handle merchandise weighing 0-60 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.

Additional Comments:

We are looking for a team player who is willing to cooperate with others and accept corrective criticism from supervision. The successful candidate will be able to take on a variety of assignments as assigned by management and work a flexible schedule according to production schedule and seasonal activities.
