Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Apply mechanical engineering principles to design and develop technically accurate drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize CAD software, such as Revit, Civil 3D, and Microstation, to create and edit designs.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with technical, administrative, and design staff to ensure project submissions meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Quality Assurance: Promote and implement quality assurance and quality control processes to improve deliverables and reduce design errors.
- Research and Compliance: Research and interpret design standards, regulations, and code compliance requirements to ensure project adherence.
- Detailing and Documentation: Create standard details and specifications for projects, and review shop drawings and working drawings from contractors.
- Estimation and Calculation: Assist with design calculations, quantity calculations, and cost estimates.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of eight years' experience in mechanical design or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to mentor and lead.
